Salim Ijeoma Obinna is honored to join Advanced Nursing and looks forward to contributing to its ongoing success. She brings to this position a solid foundation of education, diverse professional experience, and a strong commitment to excellence. Salim graduated from the University of Maryland, where she developed strong analytical and interpersonal skills through both academic and practical engagements. Her career began in Nigeria, where she gained valuable experience before relocating to the United States in 2018. Since then, she has worked as a travel nurse, taking on various assignments that required her to care for diverse patient populations. Guided by core values such as integrity, reliability, and respect, Salim values teamwork, open communication, and a results-driven approach in all professional endeavors. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, writing poems, and reading fantasy and historical fiction novels. In her new role, her primary objective is to deliver meaningful results, support the organization’s mission, and continue growing professionally while making a positive impact as part of the team.
