Not Sure What Type of Home Care You Need?

Every family’s situation is different. You may be looking for a few hours of help with everyday activities, skilled nursing support for a medical condition, specialized memory care, overnight assistance, or help bringing a loved one home safely after a hospital stay.

You don’t need to know exactly which service to ask for before contacting us. Advanced Nursing & Home Care can help you understand your options and determine the type and level of care that best fits your needs.

You May Want to Consider Home Care If:

  • Everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, meals, errands, or transportation are becoming more difficult.
  • A loved one needs medication management, wound care, chronic condition monitoring, or other skilled nursing support at home.
  • Changes in memory, confusion, or wandering are creating concerns about safety.
  • A family member is preparing to return home after a hospitalization, surgery, or rehabilitation stay.
  • Your loved one needs supervision or assistance overnight.
  • Family caregivers are struggling to provide all the care a loved one needs on their own.
  • You are a veteran or surviving spouse and want to understand whether VA benefits may help pay for in-home care.

Sometimes the need is temporary. Sometimes it grows gradually. And sometimes a sudden illness or hospitalization means a family needs help right away. Whatever brings you to us, we can help you determine the next step.

What Happens After You
Contact Us?

Call, and you’ll speak directly with a member of our care team — not a call center — who listens to what’s happening and what kind of help you’re looking for.

We assess your loved one’s medical needs, daily routine, and home safety. That’s what determines the right level of care — personal care, skilled nursing, or both.

Based on that plan, we match your loved one with a care provider or a licensed nurse suited to their specific needs and personality — never assigned at random.

Your care provider or nurse reviews the full care plan before their first visit, so nothing gets explained for the first time at your door.

Within 2–4 days of the first visit, our Client Satisfaction team checks in to confirm the care is the right fit and nothing has changed — then keeps checking in as needs do.

If your loved one’s needs change—a new diagnosis, a hospital stay, more hands-on help—your Staffing Coordinator adjusts the care plan rather than starting over.

Yes. Many clients use more than one service at the same time, such as daytime personal care with overnight care, or personal care alongside skilled nursing. Because Advanced Nursing & Home Care provides all of these within one organization, your family works with one care team and one coordinated plan.

Yes. Respite care gives a family caregiver time to work, keep an appointment, care for another family member, or simply rest, knowing someone they trust is with their loved one. We are a Consortium Member of The Arc Montgomery County’s Respite Coordination Program.

Every client begins with an assessment by our nursing team, and a registered nurse develops the care plan and stays involved as needs change. That means your loved one’s care is coordinated, monitored, and adjusted, not just scheduled.
