Samuel R. Lish - Founder / CEO
In 1993, Samuel founded Advanced Nursing & Home Care (formerly Advanced Nursing & Home Support), born unexpectedly from his marketing background when asked to promote a nursing business. This coincided with his personal journey of caregiving for his grandmother with Alzheimer’s, igniting a profound passion. Over time, caring for his aging parents became another challenge, but the established “A” team of skilled and compassionate care providers at Advanced eased the process. Guided by his belief in restoring dignity to those who need care, his commitment to a compassionate caregiving team extends far beyond, leaving a lasting positive impact on his community.
Neil Pain
President / CFO
Neil Pain - President / CFO
Neil Pain was engaged as the accountant for Advanced Nursing & Home Care in 1995 and remained as a key advisor and consultant through 2017. He then joined the “A” Team as its CFO and has been instrumental in the development of Advanced Nursing & Home Care and its organizational growth. Neil assumed the position of President in 2023 and is committed to the continuation and fulfillment of the vision of the company’s founder.

Cameron Pain - Director of Operations
Cameron, our Director of Operations at Advanced Nursing & Home Care, takes great pride in supporting and inspiring care providers in Advancing Wellbeing. He values positive feedback from clients, finding nothing more rewarding than hearing their appreciation for their care providers. Cameron graduated from Towson University in 2020 with a bachelor’s in economics and discovered his passion for healthcare during the challenging job market of the COVID-19 pandemic. He is honored to work alongside everyday heroes and looks forward to contributing to the company’s mission of exceptional care.
Jenna Bertrand

Jenna Bertrand - Program Director
Jenna has been a part of the Advanced Nursing & Home Care team for over 10 years. With a heart for teamwork, she collaborates with various departments in her role and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Jenna supports any concerns or questions from clients, internal staff, or life in general. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys fun activities, valuing any time spent with friends and family. With four beautiful dogs, her home is full of love and playtime. When she’s not at home, Jenna can be found at the local bowling alley going for strikes or traveling the world.
Gracie Roy, RN
Executive Director of Clinical Services
Gracie Roy, RN - Executive Director of Clinical Services
Gracie has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. For over 9 years, she has been a leader for our wonderful team of care providers and health professionals. She brings her expertise and knowledge to our agency like no other nurse could, and is always Advancing Wellbeing by ensuring the highest standards of patient care and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients. In her free time, she enjoys pickleball, pilates, and spending time with her two grandchildren. She holds several medals as she plays in pickleball leagues across the country at state and national levels.
Linda Lennon, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing
Linda Lennon, BSN, RN - Director of Nursing
Linda Lennon is a dedicated healthcare professional originally from South Florida with over 16 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist and more than 13 years in healthcare management and operations. A passionate advocate for patient care, Linda graduated from Columbia Union College as a double major, earning a B.S. in Healthcare Administration and an A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy.
Throughout her career, Linda has developed a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes, first as a Respiratory Therapist and, more recently, as a Registered Nurse. Her love for direct patient care and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives has only grown stronger over the years.
Whether it’s working on the frontlines of healthcare or optimizing operations to improve care delivery, Linda is driven by the desire to help others and support both patients and their families through challenging times.
Salim Obinna, MSN, RN
Field Nurse Supervisor
Salim Obinna, MSN, RN - Field Nurse Supervisor
Salim Ijeoma Obinna is honored to join Advanced Nursing and looks forward to contributing to its ongoing success. She brings to this position a solid foundation of education, diverse professional experience, and a strong commitment to excellence. Salim graduated from the University of Maryland, where she developed strong analytical and interpersonal skills through both academic and practical engagements. Her career began in Nigeria, where she gained valuable experience before relocating to the United States in 2018. Since then, she has worked as a travel nurse, taking on various assignments that required her to care for diverse patient populations. Guided by core values such as integrity, reliability, and respect, Salim values teamwork, open communication, and a results-driven approach in all professional endeavors. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, writing poems, and reading fantasy and historical fiction novels. In her new role, her primary objective is to deliver meaningful results, support the organization’s mission, and continue growing professionally while making a positive impact as part of the team.
Catherine Min, MS, RN
Nurse Monitor Manager
Catherine Min, MS, RN - Nurse Monitor Manager
Cathy is the Nurse Monitor Manager at Advanced Nursing & Home Care, leading a team of RNs who care for over 600 clients across the county. She plays a pivotal role in Advancing Wellbeing by monitoring health conditions, ensuring quality care, and coordinating necessary services to help clients live independently. With a career that began in the Army Reserves, where she trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Cathy advanced her education to earn her RN, BSN, and MS in Nursing. She has experience in hospitals, home health, and research settings. Outside of work, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their Cavachon, Coco. Her journey from part-time nurse monitor to manager showcases her dedication and expertise in the field.
Daniel Kaisamba
CNA Field Supervisor
Daniel Kaisamba - CNA Field Supervisor
As our CNA Field Supervisor, Daniel aims to continue the mission of Advancing Wellbeing for all our health professionals providing care in the field. His support empowers our care providers to be the best versions of themselves. He also works to expand our care providers’ knowledge and expertise using our training center, leading courses in topics such as Dementia and Hospice and providing training on Hoyer lift and other transfers. In his free time Daniel loves to cook, because food is what helps bring people together. He cherishes his time with friends, family, and good food.
Kaitlin Lish

Kaitlin Lish - Director of Marketing & Communications
Katie, our Director of Marketing & Communications, embodies a fusion of creativity and strategic vision. With her background in health communications and an inherent passion for design, she seamlessly blends artistic flair with data-driven insights to drive Advanced Nursing & Home Care’s marketing initiatives. Based in Colorado, she finds solace in the many hiking options and mountains, often accompanied by her fiancé, Jack, and dog, Marlo. Katie is dedicated to shaping our company’s values, style, and messaging, helping us thrive and share our mission of Advancing Wellbeing in an ever-changing market.
Jill Berkman
Director of New Business Development
Jill Berkman - Director of New Business Development
Jill joined the “A” team in April, 2025 bringing 20+ years of experience in the senior services industry. She has assisted clients in independent and assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and most recently concierge home care and care management. She is also a long-term member of GROWS (Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors) and the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce. Families appreciate Jill’s kind and caring nature and trust her to guide them to the best care options. Jill has a passion not just for solving care issues, but helping older adults advance their well-being and live their best lives.
Jill is a native of Montgomery County, MD. She lives with her partner of 29 years, Gary, and their two cats. In her free time, Jill enjoys time at the Delaware beaches, attending concerts, and reading biographies.
Steve Lahn

Steve Lahn - Director of New Business Development
Steve has been a member of the “A” team since 2017. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience across the industry having worked in all types of communities and collaborated with a variety of industry experts. He is very passionate about the wellbeing of older adults and makes it his mission to make sure each and every person he comes into contact with finds the exact resources they need.
Steve has been married almost 30 years with two adult children. He loves to travel and play baseball. He grew up in New York and is an avid New York Mets fan. In fact, he attends New York Mets fantasy camp annually to play baseball with former pros for a week every year. He has even been known on occasion to bring a former pro to town for speaking engagements!
Mark Asch

Mark Asch - Business Development Manager
Mark Asch is the Business Development Manager for Advanced Nursing & Home Care, committed to Advancing Wellbeing by providing care professionals that assist clients where they live. He has been in health care for 24 years, working in medical adult day programs, skilled nursing centers and now home care. Mr. Asch has spoken to hundreds on topics like wellness, planning for health care needs, and various other topics. He is also a member of 4 senior serving groups and two Chambers of Commerce.
Meredith Rael

Meredith Rael - Business Development Manager
Meredith has a heart for helping people and loves supporting families, whether they’re interested in our services or just need someone to listen. She oversees the intake process, guiding individuals through our care path. With over 7 years of experience in customer service, following up with families who have moved forward is incredibly important to her. “It’s always amazing to hear positive feedback about our care providers from the families that have decided to use our services. I can’t thank our team enough for all the hard work and care they put into the work they do for our clients,” said Meredith. When not investing in her work, Meredith can be found reading, crocheting, or spending time with her husband and cats.
Kerysha Morency
Operations Generalist
Kerysha Morency - Operations Generalist
Kerysha has been the front line of our ‘A’ Team for the last 2 years. As our Operations Generalist, she has worked as the directory for every call that comes into the office, whether it be clients or care providers. Kerysha is dedicated to Advancing Wellbeing by ensuring that families in need of support are directed to the appropriate resources. She is the first person that people see when they come into the office, making sure that each visitor gets the help they need. She also works processing aide notes, so she always knows what cases our care providers are assigned to. Outside of her time at work, Kerysha spends her time with friends and family. She can usually be found with friends on the weekends enjoying good food and quality time with people. With a love for travel, she has been to a few different places, enjoying her time abroad. As a Haiti native, she has gone back and visited with family there often.

Christine Tench - Recruitment Manager
Christine joined our team over 6 years ago. Through interviewing, orientation and onboarding, her number one goal as our Recruitment Manager is to prepare our care providers for success as soon as possible. Christine’s passion for teaching creates even more opportunities for the success of our care providers. When Christine is not working, she can be found hiking, bowling, grilling out or going to the theater. She has always had a love for musicals and shares it with her three daughters.
Dalton Beavers
HR Manager
Dalton Beavers - HR Manager
Dalton has been a member of the “A” Team since June 2021, and as HR Manager, he is often one of the first people our care providers meet when joining our team. A highly skilled professional in organization and time management, Dalton oversees applicant flow processes, manages new hire documents and certifications, and analyzes HR data to ensure smooth operations. He also handles caregiver payroll inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Dalton earned his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Human Resources in 2024, further strengthening his dedication to human resources and professional growth. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new hobbies, including writing, which allows him to unwind and express his creativity. Dalton is excited to continue working with the “A” Team as we grow and expand. He strives to make every day great and looks forward to what the future holds. Dalton fully embraces our mission of Advancing Wellbeing and works to support it at every opportunity.
Hannah Roggio

Hannah Roggio - Client Satisfaction Specialist
Hannah works as our Client Satisfaction Specialist at Advanced Nursing & Home Care, stepping into her role in July of 2024. Prior to joining the “A” Team, Hannah enjoyed her role working as a Recreation Assistant at a senior living community in her hometown of Towson, Maryland. Hannah attended Towson University and received her degree in Family and Human Services. Through in-person visits and phone call check-ins, Hannah serves as an advocate for all clients and loved ones, ensuring that the transition and delivery of care is exceptional. Hannah accompanies Daniel, our CNA field supervisor, to complete home safety assessments with new and existing clients.
Colotta Carrington

Colotta Carrington - Senior Staffing Coordinator
Colotta Carrington has been with Advanced Nursing & Home Care for 16 years. She is the Senior Staffing Coordinator for our private cases. Advanced Nursing & Home Care is not just her job, but her family at heart. She has one daughter and four grandchildren, with a great-grandbaby on the way, who are the joys of her life. Colotta loves music, dancing, and swimming.

Deshia Hudgins - Staffing Coordinator
Prior to joining the ‘A’ Team, Deshia worked as a Client Care Coordinator at a home health care agency. She is originally from North Carolina, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from North Carolina A&T State University. With 2.5 years of experience in health care, her favorite part of the job is working with people, particularly the caregivers. Her mom has been a caregiver for over 25 years, so Deshia understands firsthand the hard work involved. She likes to think of caregivers as the glue that holds the business together. Deshia is passionate about helping people and brainstorming new ideas to make processes easier.

Gracie Nokes - Staffing Coordinator
Prior to joining the Advanced Nursing & Home Care team, Gracie worked in the Medical and Pharmaceutical industries as well as Travel Nurse Recruitment, gaining over three years of experience in healthcare. Originally from Southern California, she moved to Maryland about a year and a half ago.
Gracie earned her bachelor’s degree in Business from Northern Arizona University and is passionate about caregiving, inspired by her family’s experience in nursing and healthcare. She enjoys working out, spending time with her Corgi, Maple, and hitting the slopes as an avid snowboarder.
