Samuel R. Lish founded Advanced Nursing & Home Care in 1993 and has spent more than three decades shaping the company around a simple idea: families deserve care that protects dignity and feels personal. As Founder and CEO, Sam continues to guide the mission and standards behind the care families receive.
The company’s beginnings were deeply personal. While helping care for his grandmother as she lived with Alzheimer’s, Sam experienced firsthand how demanding caregiving can be for a family. That experience helped shape the organization he would build.
Years later, when his own parents needed support, Sam experienced care from the family side again—this time relying on the team he had spent decades building. It reinforced what has guided his work from the beginning: good care supports not only the person receiving it, but also the family members trusting others with someone they love.
